KIKO 5x£10 HAUL

Wednesday, 9 March 2016

I have been a fan of Kiko for years. You might not know, but I'm originally from Spain and so all my family lives there and Kiko has been around in Spain for years so I was super excited when they started opening stores in the UK and even more excited when they opened one here in Cardiff.

H&M BEAUTY HAUL

Friday, 27 November 2015

So I don't know if you've heard but a couple of days ago it was the opening of the biggest H&M in the UK and it's in Cardiff, where I live. Isn't that awesome!? Anyway, I could not help myself and I had to go have a browse as soon as I finished work. It was so busy I couldn't really look around much, let alone trying any clothes on! As it was so busy I decided to go straight into the 'home' and the 'beauty' section ignoring all the pretty clothes on my way.
The home section is amazing, I literally wanted to buy everything in there but again, it was so packed in there I couldn't have a proper look so I just grabbed a pretty candle holder (£2.99).

Now, the beauty section, oh my God. I know every body had been raving about their beauty products but I had never seen them before in any H&M store so I was so happy to see there is a full beauty department in this new store. I obviously had to check it out, regardless of all the people in my way. I can honestly say I spend over 40 minutes browsing and swatching everything!

I love the packaging of their products and the way it was all presented made me want to buy every single piece of make up. Obviously I couldn't afford that so I had to narrow it to the following items.

I got two eye shadows (Down to Earth and Wild Sable). As you might know by now if you read my blog, I love berry colours and browns so I couldn't leave without getting these two shades. There is so many different shades in this collection that it was hard deciding which ones to take home (I have a feeling I will end up getting a lot more of these). They are highly pigmented and they're only £4.99.

Next I moved onto the lip section and for a lipstick addict that was a bit of a torture because I can honestly say I loved all the colours! The packaging of the lipsticks is amazing and gold but in the end I decided to go for this lip stain in the shade Chic Choc. It's similar to MAC Mauve, just a little bit darker, which I love. I got a lip liner too (Cherry Tart), again berry colour. This lip liner is extremely pigmented and it wasn't easy to take it off my arm when I did the swatches so I'm hoping it will last long on my lips!

Talking about lips, just like most people my lips get really badly chapped in winter and they look horrible so when I saw this lip scrub I had to get it. It smells amazing too! I will let you know if it works when I've been using it for a while!

I also got a eye shadow blending brush and a lash curler because I love the rosy golden colour so much!

So here's everything I got at the H&M opening. Everything was 25% off yesterday so I did end up saving quite a lot of money!

Have you tried any of H&M beauty products? What do you think of the package? I think it's all beautiful and looks very expensive considering the price!

ONLINE MAKE UP HAUL UNDER £10

Friday, 30 October 2015

Hello lovelies!
I have been buying way too much stuff the last week. I should be getting my Christmas shopping started but instead I just keep buying make up. However, I don't feel very guilty about this haul as it really cost me less than £10 including PP. How? With Fragrance Direct. If you've never heard of this website go check it out as they sell a lot of stuff with massive discounts. I've got products from FD a few times now and the delivery is always quick and efficient.

On this occasion I went a little bit lip crazy. Starting with the Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick in the shade Caramel Creme. It retails for £4.99 and I got it for £1.49, It;s a little bit too shiny for me but I think I'll stick a bit of powder on top to get a more of a matte finish. Up next is the L'Oreal Infallible Lip Liner in the shade Stay Ultraviolet. It retails for £4,29 and I got it for £1,50. I love this color on, It looks like a toned down purple and I think it would suit most people. Next one in line is the Astor Lip Pencil in Rosewood. Retails for £2,99 and I got it for £0.99. This one has a little bit more of a red tone to it and it lasts all day. Followed up by the L'Oreal Contour Parfait in  Rose Beige, Retails for £4.29 and I got it for £1.99 I do love this collection, I have five different ones but up until now I didn't have a nude colour and this one is perfect. And last but not least, I got this Playboy Gloss in Hot Toddy just because it looked like a very pretty colour and it was originally £10.99 and I got it for £1.49 so it seemed like a really good deal. I have never had anything by Playboy (in fact, I didn't even know they did make up) but this gloss is amazing!

I also got two blushers by Fashionista. Butterscotch (left) and Blush (right). I must admit these aren't the best blushers I've ever tried but they're not the worst either and considering they only cost £0.50 each (the retail price is £4.00) I couldn't say no. These two shades are really pretty but if you want to show any colour at all you have to build it up quite a lot but if you're like me and you just like a slight touch of colour on your cheeks these are perfect for that.

I also got a grey NYC Long Lasting Nail Polish. This was a little bit disappointing as I didn't find it long lasting at all, in fact, the next day it was all chipped and it looked horrible!

If you'd like to have a look at the website you can check it out here. They have really cheap brands and more high end brands like MAC or Bobbi Brown.

So this is it, my under £10 online make up haul. What do you think? Have you shopped at FD before?
