Today I''ve decided to mention the lip liners that are always in my handbag, no matter what.
Now, as you can see, all of these are high street brands because I think you don't have to spend a lot of crazy money to find a good lip liner. I have a few MAC ones and to be honest, I can't tell much difference between them and Barry M for example! So here's some affordable yet amazing lip liners!
(From left to right: Max Factor, New Look, Make Up Revolution, L'oreal, Barry M)
I'm gonna start off with my all time favorite one, MaxFactor Colour Elixir Lip Liner in Mauve Moment 06. Now if you've been looking for a cheap alternative to get those Kyle Jenner lips, here it is, I found it for you. I looked and looked for months to get the perfect match to that famous colour an although Mauve by MAC is pretty similar too, this one is a third of the price! You can get it here.
Next is New Look's Pure Colour Camel Lip Liner (72). As I've mentioned in previous post, I'm well impressed with the new make up counter at New Look. I really do like their products and they are so cheap it's unbelievable! Here's the perfect nude for me, it looks great on my lips and considering is less than £2 the quality is great as it last a good 8 hours! You can get it here.
I could not have a favorites post and not mention Make Up Revolution Rebel Lip Liner. If you know me personally you'll know how much of a fan of MUR I am. The products are so affordable and such great quality that you just can't go wrong. This lip liner is only £1 and I can't rave about it enough. I absolutely love it *I love all their lip liners but this one is my favorite*. I do found however that I have to exfoliate my lips before putting this one on otherwise they get quite dry, but again, for a £1, that's no trouble! Get it here. (currently out of stock!)
The L'Oreal Paris Contour Parfait Lip Liner in Sierra Brown (631) is another one of my favorites. As I said on my autumn favorite lipsticks, I love brown colours when it comes to lips. I think they're sexy but subtle and they remind me of the 90's, and who doesn't love the 90's Rock Era? Anyway, this lip liner is amazing, it looks great, it feels great and it last all day *even after eating or drinking*! You can get it here.
And last but not least, Barry M Russet Lip Liner. When it comes to Barry M I'm always in between, I mean, some of their products I love, others, not so much, but I must say the lip liners are a big go go for me, at least the two that I have I really like. Now this one is very similar to Sierra Brown by L'Oreal but slightly darker, which is better suited for a evening look *although I still use it for day looks, who says I can't use it whenever I want eh?*. You can get it here.
So here they are, the 5 lip liners that are always in my handbag. As you can see most of them are over half way used which means that I do use them a lot! Do you have any of these lip liners? Are you a fan of them as much as I am? Which ones are the lip liners you can't live without?
See you on my next post!

Ooh that Barry M shade looks perfect for the dark lip colours I've been wearing, will have to try and snag that on a future shopping trip.

It's amazing! If I remember right, it's the one I'm wearing on the photo on the left *the little about me* :) It's so cheap as well! xx
DeleteI really like the Maxfactor ones - I've actually been using Mauve Moment recently :)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite lipliner, annoyingly, is one that I've used for so long that I've rubbed off/sharpened off all the lettering on and now I can't for the life of me remember what it is - it's a perfect MLBB shade, and I'm on an eternal hunt for a replacement!

Definitely going to be buying the Maxfactor liner. I find it difficult to wear lipsticks as I've got naturally big lips and don't like them to stand out too much... but that colour could suit!
ReplyDeleteA really helpful post, thank you :)
I love a good MUA lip liner not going to lie! I'll definitely be picking up some maxfactor ones though now!

I've only ever tried MAC lip liners but you've inspired me to look at more options - I never really thought about how many different brands did them!
