BEAUTEUR'S FIRST GIVEAWAY!

Thursday, 7 January 2016

Wow this is so exciting!!! When I started my little blog back in September I set myself some goals by the end of the year and my Twitter followers goal was 550, who would've thought I would double my goal! I recently reached 1000 followers and as I promised, here I am with a giveaway! I would love to take a moment to thank you every single one of you that check out my blog occasionally or even if you're brand new to Beauteur for taking the time to visit, it really means a lot to me!

LET'S BE BLOGGING FRIENDS!

Saturday, 12 December 2015

Hello!
This week I decided to write an extra post (look at me, more than three post this week!) because I thought it would be a good idea to set up an advertising page on my blog and what a better way to advertise than swapping buttons?

Everything cost money these days (including advertising) so I thought it'd be great to meet some bloggers (bloggers I already know are still more than welcome to participate!) and swap buttons on each other's blog? That way we'd help both mine and your blog to get more views and followers simply by having each other's buttons displayed in our blogs and it would be completely free.

So if you'd like to swap buttons and be blogging friends you can either send me an e-mail to montse@beauteur.com or you can leave a comment underneath with your blog link and button (and please let me know where in your blog I can find my own button)!

H&M BEAUTY HAUL

Friday, 27 November 2015

So I don't know if you've heard but a couple of days ago it was the opening of the biggest H&M in the UK and it's in Cardiff, where I live. Isn't that awesome!? Anyway, I could not help myself and I had to go have a browse as soon as I finished work. It was so busy I couldn't really look around much, let alone trying any clothes on! As it was so busy I decided to go straight into the 'home' and the 'beauty' section ignoring all the pretty clothes on my way.
The home section is amazing, I literally wanted to buy everything in there but again, it was so packed in there I couldn't have a proper look so I just grabbed a pretty candle holder (£2.99).

Now, the beauty section, oh my God. I know every body had been raving about their beauty products but I had never seen them before in any H&M store so I was so happy to see there is a full beauty department in this new store. I obviously had to check it out, regardless of all the people in my way. I can honestly say I spend over 40 minutes browsing and swatching everything!

I love the packaging of their products and the way it was all presented made me want to buy every single piece of make up. Obviously I couldn't afford that so I had to narrow it to the following items.

I got two eye shadows (Down to Earth and Wild Sable). As you might know by now if you read my blog, I love berry colours and browns so I couldn't leave without getting these two shades. There is so many different shades in this collection that it was hard deciding which ones to take home (I have a feeling I will end up getting a lot more of these). They are highly pigmented and they're only £4.99.

Next I moved onto the lip section and for a lipstick addict that was a bit of a torture because I can honestly say I loved all the colours! The packaging of the lipsticks is amazing and gold but in the end I decided to go for this lip stain in the shade Chic Choc. It's similar to MAC Mauve, just a little bit darker, which I love. I got a lip liner too (Cherry Tart), again berry colour. This lip liner is extremely pigmented and it wasn't easy to take it off my arm when I did the swatches so I'm hoping it will last long on my lips!

Talking about lips, just like most people my lips get really badly chapped in winter and they look horrible so when I saw this lip scrub I had to get it. It smells amazing too! I will let you know if it works when I've been using it for a while!

I also got a eye shadow blending brush and a lash curler because I love the rosy golden colour so much!

So here's everything I got at the H&M opening. Everything was 25% off yesterday so I did end up saving quite a lot of money!

Have you tried any of H&M beauty products? What do you think of the package? I think it's all beautiful and looks very expensive considering the price!

WOULD YOU RATHER - BEAUTY EDITION

Thursday, 19 November 2015

I found this a while ago when looking for blog post ideas and I thought it'd be fun to give it a go! Here's my Would you rather? Beauty Edition.

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
I'd rather lose my palettes and eye shadows. I can't live without lipstick and mascara so this one is easy!
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I'd rather chop it all off. I actually prefer short hair.
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral, definitely. I'm not the biggest fan of pink on my cheeks, coral is a lot more subtle I think.
4.) If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Ha! Make up, without a doubt!
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Oh god, mmm, probably lipstick as eyeliner, I couldn't deal with the dryness on my lips if I used eyeliner on them.
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Sephora, there's a lot more choices there.
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
Probably one eye shadow color. I'd make sure it's pretty neutral so I can use all lip colours I want!
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
I hate being hot so winter clothes in summer would be no good for me, definitely summer clothes in winter.
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Dark nails.
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
I'd give up the eye product. I love lipstick.
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Messy bun if it looked like the pictures on Pinterest! Mine's actually very poor.
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
I'm not too fuss on nails to be honest and I'm not the biggest fan of lip gloss so I wouldn't be devastated without either of those.
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Sharpie them every day. Even tho doing my eye brows is what I hate the most about doing my make up, I wouldn't like not having them.
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
I definitely can live without Nail polish, a billion times. Like a said, I'm not too fuss on nail polish and I love make up so it's a no brainer.

What about you? What would you rather? I nominate all of you to do this tag, make sure you leave me a link so I can read your responses! :)

MAC MAKE UP HAUL

Monday, 16 November 2015

Believe it or not, I've had a MAC gift card in my purse since my birthday last May. How have I managed to not buy anything there for so long you'll ask, well I don't know. I guess I have been waiting for a special occasion to get my make up done and get the most of the gift card but up until now I haven't had any major events to go to. I couldn't wait any longer so in the end I just got my make up done there just because, because I really wanted to get some new products. I honestly had MAC withdraw.

So here's the products I got.

Eye Shadow - Deep Truth.
I've been wanting a very dark blue eye shadow for a long time, I want to do a make up look where the crease is black and the lid is packed up with this dark blue. I shall let you know how it looked!

Eye Shadow - Nocturnelle.
I saw this shade and I literally fell in love with it. I love purples to give some colour to the eyes and I think purples look great on dark eyes.

Lipstick - Antique Velvet.
For some reason it looks purple-ish in this photo, but I can assure you it's mega brown, literally the brownest brown I've ever seen! It looks stunning on and it has a matte finish, which I love.

Eyebrow Pencil - Spiked.
I've been on the hunt for a very thin eye brow pencil for ages and I think I've found it. It's very precise.

To Go Pigment.
This is like a green-purple-gold metallic pigment and it looks amazing on olive skins,

Here's everything I bought in this MAC haul this time, do you have any of this products? Let me know what your favorite MAC eye shadows are as I think I'll be buying a lot more of these dark colours!
