YVES ROCHER MAKE UP REMOVER

Thursday 25 February 2016

I feel like lately all the reviews I post are really good reviews but I can't help it, I have been discovering so many good products that I have to share them with you guys! Here's another product I give my thumbs up to, Yves Rocher Purbleuer Make Up Remover.

I am always trying to find the best, easiest, cheapest way to get my make up off at night. Last year I was super excited to try the Garnier Micellar Water due to everybody talking wanders about it and I absolutely hated it. It didn't work on me at all and it didn't remove any make up what-so-ever. (You can read my review here). So I kept trying different products until I found this particular one.

I have to be honest, I did not buy this. I got it in a lucky dip that my father in law did for Christmas so I was super surprised when I tried it and realized it's probably the best make up remover I have ever tried, no lying.

This works specially good for eye make up, it does not sting at all, I mean you could have your eye open and soaked in this product and it would not hurt at all. With one cotton pad you can get rid of all your eye make up, including waterproof mascara/eye liner.

As for the rest of your face, it takes two or three cotton pads, depending what foundation you're using. I always use an extra one to make sure there's nothing left and then I do my regular night routine and I'm done.

Have you every tried this make up remover?

  2. This sounds awesome, I love that you got it in a lucky dip too, how lucky ha! I tend to use a cleansing balm to remove my make up but for heavy eye make up it feels like a bit of a waste. I'm going to have to give this a try! <3

  3. I've never tried anything from Yves Rocher but I know it's not too expensive so that's a good start. I love Bioderma's Micellar water but it's quite difficult to get hold of, would be interested to try this! It's such a pretty purple colour too, not that that impacts whatsoever on its effectiveness in removing makeup haha!
