L'OREAL INFALLIBLE 24H FOUNDATION REVIEW
Thursday, 1 September 2016
Hello!
Of course the first thing I would write about after a couple of months no posting would be foundation! As you may know if you have read my blog before, I absolutely love foundations. It's definitely my favorite make up product and I love to try new ones all the time!
This time I was after a high street foundation and as I had read quite a few good reviews about the L'Oreal Infallible 24h I decided to give it a try.
There is two different versions of Infallible, the normal one (which I got) and the matte one. As I have very dry patches on my skin at the moment I decided to go for the normal one as matte foundations tend to cling on to my dry patches no matter how much primer I use!
Unfortunately I'm also having quite a bad breakout lately as I've been very stressed.
I have been testing this foundation out for a couple of weeks now and I've tried it with a beauty blender and with a flat top kabuki brush. Even though you get more coverage with the brush, I prefer using it with a beauty blender and pack on two layers. The finish is great, it's not matte but not too dewy either! Sometimes I can end up looking very 'sweaty' looking with dewy foundations so not my favorites. This foundation is a nice balance.
I bought this foundation on the shade Vanilla as it's seemed the closest one to my skin however I do find a little bit dark so I would recommend to drop a shade within your undertone range. It also oxidizes a little bit after a few minutes of applying it.
As you can see it covered all you would want it to cover.
This foundation claims to last 24h but obviously I have not used it for that long, a girl needs her sleep.
The longest I have used it must have been around 16h. I did a full shift a work, then went to our new house to paint and by the time I got home this foundation was still pretty good considering I had been sweating.
There was a slight shine on my forehead by then and it had faded a little bit around my nose where my dry patches are but apart from that, the coverage was still there!
Overall I really like this foundation. It's comfortable to wear, not too heavy but with amazing coverage.
Have you tried this foundation? Let me know what you think on the comments below! :)

This sounds like a really nice drugstore foundation!

I've heard really good things about this foundation so think I'll give it a try. I can't imagine needing a foundation for 24 hours but 16 hours is a great run!

The coverage is great! Definitely want to pick this up for times when spots just appear so suddenly, would do me a world of good :)
