FOTD - EVERY DAY LOOK

Monday 19 October 2015

When it comes to 'every day' make up I have no rules. Some days I go full on Oscar's worthy make up and other's a barely wear any regardless of what time of the day it is. Of course for a special night or occasions I try to go the extra mile but that doesn't mean I don't do that on a regular basics anyway. I really don't know if I'm making any sense right now! My point is, I could easily wear red lipstick or a very elaborated eye make up to go to work or I could literally put a little bit of foundation and mascara and head out the door.

Today I wanted to do an in-between look, simple, classic but with a pop of colour. I have cheated and I've used the bronze as my eye shadow too *which I do very often* so it's a pretty quick look, no messing around with shit loads of eye shadows, etc. We could say, apart from the basics (foundation, concealer and mascara) I've used 4 other products in total.

For the face I've mixed two shades (52 and 54) of Bourjois Healthy Mix to get my perfect shade as I'm literally in between of those two at the moment, then I used the Collection concealer *which I'm about to run out of :(* and some settling powder from the pound shop.
For the very light contouring I've used MU Revolution Chocolate Heaven bronze. If you want a very subtle contour you have to be very careful when using this as it's super pigmented!

For the eyebrows, well, this is one of the things I don't like to touch much on daily basis, simply because I hate doing my eyebrows, so I just used a tiny tiny bit of the ELF eyebrow's  kit just to fill them slightly. On the eyes like I said I have bronze and very tiny bit of Beauty UK eyeliner to give it some definition and my favorite mascara by New Look, Pure Length.

As for the lips, I'm using a Barry M lip liner which I actually mentioned in my last post. *you can read about it in more detail here*

So that's it, a pretty easy and quick make up look that I wear pretty often, especially when I don't have much time to get ready!
What's your in-between make up look?
